In case you end up here, wondering why there have been so few posts lately, it's because coordinated Darfur efforts have been happening under the name Michigan Darfur Coalition and we're using a website instead of this blog. There've been good efforts on behalf of Darfur since the last post and a new wave of activism is afoot. The statewide coalition has great leadership, synergy and vision. Please visit: www.MichiganDarfurCoalition.org.

This is the last post on this blog.

GREAT NEWS!!

Last week, it appeared certain that the 2007 chairmanship of African Union would be awarded to Sudan — perpetrators of the ongoing genocide in Darfur. Yesterday, it was announced that Ghana — key contributors to the AU peacekeeping force in Darfur — will head the African Union instead.
Because of your dedication, the United States took a stand against a Sudanese presidency.

Keep on e-mailing and making phone calls!! We are making a difference!
