The Save Darfur Coalition will sponsor a Save Darfur Now: Voices to Stop Genocide rally in New York City on September 17th; rally organizing efforts have already begun. This event coincides with a meeting of the 61st United NationsGeneral Assembly in New York. Thousands of individuals across the world will likewise call for U.N. peacekeepers in Darfur on Sept. 17 as part of the Global Day for Darfur.
